Les Talusan from Sound of Everything was a fantastic wedding DJ. She did a really great job of figuring out what kind of music we liked and she kept everyone dancing all night long. My guests repeatedly commented that the music was awesome — and it felt like us. Two thumbs up! – VCM, Bride

Hiring Les Talusan to dj was one of the best wedding planning decisions we made. Music was and is hugely important to my wife and I and it was such a relief to know that we were trusting this aspect of our event to someone not only very trustworthy, but equally passionate. We provided Les a list of “must-hear” songs that she seamlessly worked into a set, along with some of her own choice (and highly appropriate) selections. Les kept the dance party going well into the night. It was exactly what my wife and I wanted and then some. We got so many great compliments from our friends and family about the music at our wedding too. We and our guests had a blast! We recommend Les without reservation! – Christian S., Groom

Since November 2009, The Pinstriped Rebel has DJ’ed for Sulu DC on several occasions. Awe and joy are the most frequent responses to her musical selections. A phrase one will often hear is ‘where did she get that?’, as Les’ ability to handpick music appropriate for any occasion is mind-blowing. She will dig out hip-hop tracks featuring Swedes or ’90s Asian American emcees and still keep you dancing. When transitioning between our featured acts, she is so fluid we sometimes forget she’s in the booth! Sulu DC recommends Sound of Everything without hesitation to any bar, restaurant, or community group lucky enough to book her. Her vision spans beyond just throwing together a top 40’s playlist; she is trained in the old skool craft of DJ’ing and well-versed in music of every genre. We have had her spin at every possible occasion and she keeps coming back by popular demand, from both our audience and artists. She’s beyond professional and a pleasure to work with. – Simone J., Founding Co-Director, Sulu DC
